What is Vemo Player?
Vemo Player is an IPTV media player for iOS and Android. It lets you load playlists using an M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials from a provider you already have, and watch live TV, movies, and series through your own account.
Vemo Player does not provide any channels, content, or subscriptions. You need an existing IPTV service to use the app.
How do I add my playlist?
Open the app and go to Playlist Management. Tap Add Playlist and choose one of:
- M3U URL — enter the full URL to your .m3u or .m3u8 file
- Xtream Codes — enter the server URL, username, and password from your provider
Tap Connect and the app will validate your credentials and load your content.
Why can't I hear any sound?
Check the following:
- Make sure your device volume is turned up and not muted
- On iPhone/iPad, check the physical mute/silent switch on the side of the device — if it's switched to silent, flip it back
- Try using headphones to rule out a speaker issue
- Check that the stream itself has an audio track (some streams are video-only)
- Try selecting a different audio track in the player controls if multiple tracks are available
Why does the video keep buffering?
Buffering is usually caused by your internet connection or your IPTV provider's server load. Try:
- Switching to a faster Wi-Fi network or moving closer to your router
- Closing other bandwidth-heavy apps on your device
- Contacting your IPTV provider — buffering often happens when their servers are busy
- Trying a different stream or channel to narrow down if it's provider-specific
How does Continue Watching work?
When you watch a movie or series episode, Vemo Player saves your playback position locally on your device. When you come back to the same movie or episode, you'll see a Resume button that picks up exactly where you left off.
In the Movies and Series sections, a Continue Watching filter category shows all content you've started but haven't finished.
All progress data is stored only on your device and is never sent to Vemo Player.
How do I clear my watch history or favourites?
Go to Settings → Data Controls inside the app. You can:
- Clear your watch history (removes all Continue Watching progress)
- Clear your favourites (removes all saved channels, movies, and series)
- Remove stored playlist/account data
Does Vemo Player collect my data?
No. Vemo Player collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no crash reporting. All your playlist credentials, favourites, and watch history are stored only on your device and are never sent to Vemo Player.
Read the full Privacy Policy for details.
Is Vemo Player free?
Vemo Player is free to download. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions within the app itself. You will need a subscription or account with an IPTV provider of your choice to access content — that cost is between you and your provider.
My playlist won't connect — what should I do?
First confirm that your credentials are correct by testing them in another IPTV player or a browser. If they work there, try:
- Checking that the server URL is complete and starts with
http://orhttps:// - Making sure there are no spaces before or after your username or password
- Checking whether your provider's server is currently online
- Contacting your IPTV provider — your subscription may have expired
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email us at support@vemoplayer.com with a description of the issue, your device model, and iOS/Android version. Screenshots or screen recordings are very helpful.
Data deletion requests
Because Vemo Player stores all data locally on your device and does not send it to our servers, we do not hold any personal data to delete on your behalf.
To remove all your data: go to Settings → Data Controls in the app, or simply uninstall the app from your device.
If you have a specific data-related request or concern, email support@vemoplayer.com.
